The research aims to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance on the tribal
department of East Jakarta city administration cleanliness. By using quantitative methods and
assisted with SPSS 20.0 application program. The number of samples taken is 30 respondents with
incidental sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using
correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression. based on the
calculation of correlation coefficients by using SPSS 20, the correlation with the result of 0.821 and
the value belonging to the category is very strong. Based on calculation of coefficient of
determination equal to 67,3%. This means that leadership style affects employee workforce by
67.3% and the rest is influenced by other factors that are not researched in. From the results of
regression equation can be known the relationship between the Style of Leadership against work
Kineja is Y = 20.445 + 0.486X, It means that if X = 0 or without any work motivation then
employee performance of 20.445 and if X rose 1 point or every increase in leadership style of 1
then will increase employee performance by 20,931. From the result of t test is obtained
significance value 0,000 <0,05. This means that leadership style affects employee performance on
the Suku Dinas Kebersihan Kota Administrasi of East Jakarta.
