TRANSLATION PROCEDURES IN THERESE RAQUIN NOVEL BY EMILE ZOLA

                                        ABSTRACT
Muhammad Shevadiego Syani (31210025), Translation Procedures In Therese Raquin Novel By Emile Zola.
The objective of this research is to know the procedures of translation from Therese Raquin Novel By Emile Zola which is translated into Bahasa become Therese Raquin. In this paper, the writer uses descriptive method. The data are collected from libraries and browsing from internet about the theories about translation from some experts. In this paper, the procedures of translation in analyzing the novel is using Newmark’s translation procedures. From the result of the analysis, the writer finds the translation procedures that use in the process of translation. Then, knowing what is the dominant procedures which translator uses.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tata cara penerjemahan Novel Therese Raquin karya Emile Zola yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan judul Therese Raquin. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari perpustakaan dan penelusuran internet mengenai teori penerjemahan dari beberapa ahli. Dalam tulisan ini, prosedur penerjemahan dalam menganalisis novel menggunakan prosedur penerjemahan Newmark. Dari hasil analisis, penulis menemukan prosedur penerjemahan yang digunakan dalam proses penerjemahan. Kemudian mencari tahu prosedur dominan apa yang digunakan penerjemah.
