This thesis presents the design and development of SwapBook, a mobile application designed to facilitate book exchange and community formation among book enthusiasts. The application aims to connect individuals with similar interests in specific books, allowing them to mutually utilize their book collections to acquire new books without direct purchases. Key features include user registration and profiles, a book catalog, messaging, and geolocation integration. The application is designed to ensure user convenience, security, and efficiency. The development process utilized Agile methodology, integrating user surveys and testing to ensure the application meets user needs. The result is a comprehensive and user-friendly application that promotes literacy and community awareness. |
