ABSTRACT

In this modern era, the massive development of technology requires humans to develop further, especially in terms of understanding technology in solving an answer instantly. And here, the role of artificial intelligence is very important in helping humans find out an answer instantly and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. From here an idea came where the writer created a project, namely an artificial intelligence-based chatbot using English as the main language of this chatbot. This chatbot can provide answers about unique facts about Indonesia where the target users are foreign tourists and the wider community. The purpose of this project is to promote Indonesia in terms of its unique facts for tourists and the wider community, while understanding the output produced by this artificial intelligence in providing answers, and analyzing the language produced by this bot. In the process, the writer created this chatbot using a platform from IBM, namely IBM Watson Assistant, which was learned during the independent study program at Infinite Learning for 6 months and saw the results of the answers from this chatbot by paying attention to each word produced. And as a result, there are still some minor errors in the answers given by the chatbot, so the writer needs to improve the answers a little so that the chatbot can give the right answers.


ABSTRAK
Di era modern seperti saat ini, perkembangan teknologi yang semakin massif menuntut manusia untuk berkembang lebih jauh, terutama dari sisi pemahaman akan teknologi dalam memecahkan suatu jawaban secara instan. Dan disinilah, peran kecerdasan buatan sangat penting dalam membantu manusia dalam mengetahui suatu jawaban secara instan dan dapat diakses kapanpun dan dimanapun. Dan dari sini muncullah suatu ide dimana penulis membuat suatu proyek yaitu chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris sebagai Bahasa utama dari chatbot ini. Chatbot ini dapat memberi jawaban seputar fakta unik tentang Indonesia yang dimana target dari penggunannya adalah turis asing dan masyarakat luas. Tujuan dari pembuatan proyek ini adalah untuk mempromosikan Indonesia dari sisi fakta uniknya bagi turis dan masyarakat luas, sekaligus memahami output yang dihasilkan oleh kecerdasan buatan ini dalam memberikan jawabannya,serta menganalisis kebahasaan yang dihasilkan oleh bot ini. Dalam prosesnya, penulis membuat chatbot ini menggunakan platform dari IBM yaitu IBM Watson Assistant yang dipelajari pada saat mengikuti program studi independen kampus merdeka di Infinite Learning selama 6 bulan serta melihat hasil jawaban dari chatbot ini dengan memperhatikan setiap kata-kata yang dihasilkan. Dan hasilnya, masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan kecil dari jawaban yang diberikan oleh chatbot nya, sehingga penulis perlu sedikit memperbaiki jawabannya agar chatbot nya dapat memberi jawaban yang tepat.
