TEACHING ENGLISH SPEAKING THROUGH ROLE PLAY TECHNIQUE (A Field Research at the 7th Grade of SMPS Yanuri Tegal Alur Kalideres)

Most people experience barriers in speaking, this problem often occurs, therefore the writer wants students to practice the basics and understand grammar and learn to understand the theory and improve speaking skills for SMPS Yanuri students. We can change students'' perspectives from learning English to learning English as simple and enjoyable. To find out whether students'' speaking abilities can be improved by using this study "TEACHING ENGLISH SPEAKING THROUGH ROLE PLAY TECHNIQUE (A Field Research at the 7th Grade of SMPS Yanuri Tegal Alur Kalideres)". Qualitative research is observing people in their environment interact with them, attempting to grasp their language and their understanding of the world around them, for which the research must descend into the field and stay the same for a sufficiently long time. Learning has a qualitative research reflection of the theory of truth scientifically and highly values the diversity of field data. research, its focus is more on understanding phenomena or events, both common in social life and mostly personal. The results that students were able to speak fluently, students are not passive in asking questions in any conversation using English during class hours. All of students understanding the vocabulary and being able to compose simple sentences that can be understood by their role-playing friends and students could speak improvisationally.
