The Aspect of Love in A Walk to Remember Movie Directed by Adam Shankman

The objectives of the research are to analyse the aspect of love in A Walk to Remember movie and also analyse the types of love and moral message in this film. The object of analysis is A Walk to Remember movie which is a romantic movie thus it is in line with the objective of the research. The writer utilized a qualitative descriptive method to compile this research by doing a few steps as follows: choosing what movie the writer wants to discuss, by watching a few times to find out which parts of the story that is interesting to discuss, and finding the aspects that stand out and give positive value to both writer and the reader. The research identified three aspects of love, they are intimacy, passion, and commitment. The research also found two types of love, they are agape and eros. The moral message of this film is that under any circumstances, one must always be grateful to God. The film also bans us from values like love, sacrifice, kindness, and immortality. Reminding us to live with love and cherish every moment we have.
