PENERAPAN MANAGEMENT BANDWIDTH MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE QUEUE DENGAN MIKROTIK PADA JARINGAN KOMPUTER PT.LOTTERIA INDONESIA

Internet network access is currently showing a very high trend, both in the fields of education, economics, social and even for the business world. Very fast penetration makes even more internet users resulting in decreased network performance of PT. Lotteria Indonesia is in need of a network mechanism that can help the process of data transfer and a stable internet to support the course of the transaction process and company management. The way that can be taken to support network performance so that it remains stable is to do bandwidth management. This bandwidth management is aimed at allocating or managing bandwidth using a proxy router PC. Bandwidth management provides the ability to manage network bandwidth and provide service levels according to the needs and priorities according to user or client requests. The method that can be used in bandwidth management is the Simple Queue method. Bandwidth management with Simple Queue method aims to eliminate bandwidth per IP Address. Application of bandwidth management using the Simple Queue method with proxy is a solution to solve the problems that exist in this company. With the implementation of this bandwidth management all PCs can use the internet smoothly and stable even though all PC units use the internet at the same time and get bandwidth according to the needs of the user or client.
