QUALITY DIMENSIONS OF DELONE-MCLEAN MODEL TO MEASURE STUDENTS’ ACCOUNTING COMPUTER SATISFACTION: AN EMPIRICAL TEST ON ACCOUNTING SYSTEM INFORMATION

Abstract- Accounting software development has become a highgrowth industry. User satisfaction is the most widely measure used to assess information system success in Delone-McLean model. This research aims to analyze any factors measuring on the success on utilization of accounting information system by using Delone & McLean information system success model on Zahir Accounting accounting information system. This accounting information system is an accounting information system used by 172 respondents namely students in department of computer accounting in the learning of Computer Accounting Application subject. Results of the research show that the quality of accounting information utilization greatly affects on the net benefit perceived by the respondents. It means that students in department of computer accounting are satisfied to this accounting information system and provide effects on the creativity, increase users’ knowledge, convenience in using the system, ability for problem solving, increase students’ participation and they are willing to share experiences in using the accounting information system that they use. For the value of Goodness Of Fit (GOF), it is obtained by 0,74 or 74%, it means that these research results have been well-adjusted substantially to represent real condition perceived by users.
