Abstract: SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Bengkayang Regency has facilities in the form of a library. Based on
the results of the study, the obstacles faced in library management were the categorization of book data, the
process of borrowing books, delays in returning for borrowed books, loss of books and the Covid-19 pandemic
which made the library inoperable. Therefore, this final project discusses the design of an e- library
information system that uses the prototype model as a software development model consisting of listening
costumer need, building a mock-up and mock-up testing. Data collection techniques used consisted of
observation, interviews and literature study. This e-library provides facilities to librarian and members. The
librarian able to manage the user data, book categories, book data, e-book data, member data, tariff data, book
rentals, book returns, confirm book requests, access book rental reports and book return reports. Members
able t search the books and e-books, then log in to download an e-books and requested the books. Design of
e- library is expected to provide convenience in managing books, because in recording both the book title data
and the number of existing books all recorded on the application system without using book media, physical
book lending services become faster and library members can also read digital books (e-books).
