The purpose of this research is to describe Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance, and explain the
influence between variables of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance. The sample in this study were 30
employees of PT.Megah Build Steel Universe. The research method used is Explanatory Research using
questionnaires and documentation as a data collection tool. Data analysis in this study using SPSS 19.0 for
Windows. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination with SPSS 19.0, it can be concluded that
the magnitude of the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance is 72.8%, meaning that 72.8% of
employee performance variables can be influenced by job satisfaction, while the remaining 27.2% is influenced
by factors -other factor. From the results of the regression equation, it can be seen the relationship between job
satisfaction and employee performance Y = 11,925 + 0,766 X. This equation shows if job satisfaction (X) is
constant or has a value of 0 (zero), employee performance (Y) is 11,925. The regression coefficient X of 0.766
states that each addition to 1 unit of job satisfaction will increase employee performance by 0.766 and vice
versa. So the direction of employee satisfaction relations with employee performance is positive or in the same
direction.
