Muhammad Aditya Nurdin (17190169), Computer Network Design Using the OSPF Method at SMK Negeri 4 Bekasi City
The network at SMK Negeri 4 Kota Bekasi needs to be upgraded as it no longer meets the growing needs of the school. This study aims to design and implement a new network using the OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol to improve overall network performance. The OSPF method was chosen due to its several advantages, such as good scalability, fast convergence, and high security, making it highly suitable for an educational environment. This network design includes several network segments, including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), with network devices tailored to the needs of each segment. The implementation of this new network is expected to significantly enhance network performance, support teaching and learning activities as well as school administration operations more efficiently, and serve as an example that other schools can adopt in the future.
