Feminism is a movement that aims to achieve gender equality and eradicate discrimination and injustice in gender. This makes the research want to analyze how feminism is packaged in Barbie films, which are known as children's films. This research aims to analyze the representation of gender and women's empowerment in Barbie 2023. The research used a descriptive qualitative method to do this research by following several steps: choosing what movie wants to discuss, watching the movie several times to find out which part of the story is interesting to discuss, and finding the coverage of the topic in the movie. This research identifies two elements of feminism, they are gender representation and women's empowerment with three coverages each. In gender representation, the coverage analyzed by this research is roles, behaviors, and occupations. In women's empowerment, the research identified the use of rights, having control, and being able to make decisions. Barbie 2023 is a film that is not only a children's entertainment film but also a tool to convey important messages about gender, equality, and women's empowerment.
