Currently, the development of housing developments, world centers and other public facilities is very rapid. However, this rapid development also presents its own challenges such as congestion, environmental problems, and the need for better infrastructure. As time goes by, Bekasi continues to try to balance economic growth and the quality of life of its citizens. Through various sustainable development and city planning programs, Bekasi strives to become a livable, environmentally friendly and highly competitive city in the era of globalization. Thus, Bekasi's journey from prehistoric times to the present reflects the dynamics of change influenced by various historical, social and economic factors. Bekasi is not only a silent witness to various important events, but also continues to develop into a city that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. Bekasi, a city located in West Java province, Indonesia, has a long history that reflects the dynamics of regional development in the archipelago. From time to time, Bekasi has experienced significant transformation, starting from prehistoric times, the era of empires, colonialism, to becoming the modern city that we know today. In prehistoric times, the Bekasi area was a place of residence for ancient humans as evidenced by the discovery of artifacts and fossils . In historical records, Bekasi is known as part of the Tarumanegara Kingdom which ruled in the 5th century AD. The Tugu inscription found in the Bekasi area is important evidence of the existence of this kingdom. Bekasi has experienced rapid urbanization and industrialization, especially since the 1970s. This city has developed into one of the largest industrial centers in Indonesia, with the establishment of many factories and industrial areas. This attracts population migration from various regions in search of work and better life opportunities. In the last few decades, Bekasi has transformed into an increasingly modern city
