Tesis_Euis Meinawati

The purpose of this research was to find out whether there is any
influence between : (1) English writing ability and Contextual Teaching
Learning of learning community component and modeling component, (2)
interaction Contextual Teaching Learning and motivation to English writing
ability, (3) English writing ability between students group that were learning
using Contextual Teaching Learning of learning community component and
modeling component in high motivation, and (4) English writing ability
between students group that were learning using Contextual Teaching
Learning of learning community component and modeling component in low
motivation.
The data was collected through writing test for students’ writing ability,
objective test for knowledge of writing ability and questionnaire for motivation.
The research finding shows that : (1) English writing ability students
have studied using Contextual Teaching Learning of learning community was
better than Contextual Teaching Learning of learning modeling component. It
shows by Fhitung 23.52 ˃ F tabel 4.20, (2) there was interaction between
Contextual Teaching Learning and motivation to English writing ability. It
shows by Fhitung 76.08 ˃ F tabel 7.64, (3) English writing ability students have
studied using Contextual Teaching Learning of learning community was better
than Contextual Teaching Learning of learning modeling component in high
motivation. It shows by Qhitung 12.91 ˃ F tabel 3.89, (4) ) English writing ability
students have studied using Contextual Teaching Learning of modeling
component was better than Contextual Teaching Learning of learning learning
community in low motivation group. It shows by Qhitung 5.06 ˃ F tabel 3.89.
Thus, appropriate approach of learning and giving good motivation from the
teacher will increase students English writing ability.
