Optimalisasi Penerapan Translanguaging Berbasis Latar Belakang Pendidikan Orang Tua di SMA Negeri Cibinong Bogor

Faktor internal dan eksternal dari seseorang mempengaruhi kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam multilingualisme. Sebagian orang tua berperan sebagai pendidik sekaligus pendamping. Pada tahap awal perkembangan anak, mereka biasanya saling berbagi dengan mencampurkan bahasa seperti bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Kebiasaan ini dapat membentuk karakter anak di kemudian hari dalam kegiatan berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan orang tua terhadap kemampuan berbicara (Translanguaging) siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Sampel diambil sebanyak 40 siswa dengan teknik simple random. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung kepada contoh. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif seperti mencari mean, median, modus, simpangan baku, dan statistik inferensial untuk mencari koefisien korelasi sederhana dan ganda, dilanjutkan dengan uji signifikansi koefisien korelasi dengan uji-T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif latar belakang pendidikan orang tua terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa (Translanguaging) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sederhana sebesar r = 0,68 yang signifikan dengan t hitung (5,78) > t tabel (2,42) pada α = 0,01.
