Kemajuan dan perkembangan teknologi mendukung proses komunikasi. Komunikasi tatap muka mulai bergeser kearah komunikasi yang dimediasi oleh teknologi saat ini yang semakin menyingkat ruang dan waktu untuk memperoleh update informasi diberbagai kepentingan. Berbagai media komunikasi semakin canggih, selain pesan singkat, email, telefon, teknologi dan berkomunikasi secara langsung jarak jauh yakni dengan Teknologi Komunikasi telekonferensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskiptif kuantitatif di PT Bank Mandiri Persero (Tbk) Jakarta.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana perbandingan telekonferensi dan rapat tatap muka pada PT Bank Mandiri Persero (Tbk) Jakarta dengan landasan teori kekayaan media (Media Richness Theory). Dalam teori ini menunjukan. Jika menggunakan media komunikasi yang miskin akan membawa organisasi kearah penurunan tidak ada umpan balik sedangakan tatap muka menjadi media komunikasi yang memungkinkan terjadinya umpan balik.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Metode yang digunakanan adalah survey yaitu dengan membagikan kuesioner. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive Sampling. Oleh karena itu dalam penjumlahan didapatkan 102 responden. Hasil penelitian diperoleh telekonferensi pada PT Bank Mandiri dinilai efektif diperoleh dengan dimensi diantaranya, pencapaian tujuan (90,2 %), kesegeraan 89,2 %, ekspresi 70,6 %, Adaptasi 84,3 %, Motivasi 88,2 % dan Integrasi 71,6 %. Sedangkan hasil nilai gabungan dari setiap jawaban responden tentang telekonferensi memperoleh nilai 63,5 % dianggap cukup efektif .
