Location And Menu Usage In Creating Thriller And Horror Atmosphere In The Menu Movie Directed By Mark Mylod

The objective of the research are to anaylize the location and menu usage in creating thriller and horror atmosphere. The object of analysis is The Menu movie directed by Mark Mylod which is thriller movie thus it is in line with the objective of the research. The writer uses a qualitative descriptive method for drafting this paper by doing few steps as follow, by choosing what movie that the writer wants to discuss, by watching a few times to find out which parts of the story that is interesting to discuss and by finding the aspects that stand out and give positive value to both writer and the reader. The writer was able to draw conclusions and start to compile this work until the final result of her research, the writer found that the choice of locations and the use of menus in the Menu movie have an important role in creating an atmosphere of horror elements. The result of the research Location in The Menu movie creates suspend and thriller in the movie. The menu also has the main role in creating the suspense and thriller of The Menu movie.
