PENERAPAN MODEL MVC PADA SISTEM INFORMASI PENDAFTARAN PONDOK UTRUJJAH

Computerized information system with Ms. media. Word, Ms. Excel, manuals, and using paper media are not good enough for a good information system if they are not integrated with the database. One of the educational institutions, Pondok Utrujjah, wants to provide the best service for prospective applicants in managing registration. Where the system is still done manually by combining in one notebook, which allows for errors in recording, reporting and lack of data security. Therefore, the researcher proposes the development of a registration information system that is integrated with the database with the title "Application of the MVC Model in the Registration Information System of Pondok Utrujjah". The system created applies the MVC model, which is an architectural design pattern in a website development system consisting of a Model View Controller, where this system seems to have separate parts and can be developed individually. The system development method applied is the Prototyping model where the software development process begins with gathering requirements from the system, followed by prototype making and evaluation from users. The tools used in this design is UML (Unified Modeling Language). The programming language used is PHP and MySQL as the database. The research method used is direct observation, interviews and literature study. From this research resulted in a registration information system that is integrated with the database that can overcome errors in recording, lack of data security and difficulties in reporting.
