In today's era of globalization, information technology is advancing rapidly. As for computers, which are equipment created to facilitate human work, when achieving progress both in the manufacture of hardware and software. The Sukabumi Regency Marine and Fisheries Service really needs an information system that supports the recording of incoming and outgoing letters at the Sukabumi Regency Marine and Fisheries Service. For this reason, the author tries to make a Final Project regarding the Design of Information Systems for Management of Incoming and Outgoing Letters at the Marine and Fisheries Service of Sukabumi Regency which until now has not been computerized. The existing system at the Sukabumi Regency Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service is still done manually, starting from storing incoming and outgoing mail data to making reports, making it possible during the process there were errors in recording, less accurate reports made and delays. in searching for the required data. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company, and with a computerized system, an effective and efficient activity can be achieved in supporting activities in this company. A computerized system is better than a manual system in order to run more effectively and efficiently and the current system is more conducive than the previous system.
