Jurnal Analisis Framing Robert N Entman Pada Pemberitaan Kecelakaan Pesawat Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 di Kompas.com Dan Detik.com Tanggal 9-11 Januari 2021

This study examines the reporting pattern with framing analysis of two online news portals, namely Kompas.com and Detik.com, related to the crash of the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 plane. Each news portal has different forms of news on a different headline. Where the news values are summarized and in full through the headlines that have been constructed related to events and realities. The power of a news will be filled with elements that are new, extraordinary, interesting, important and about human life will be an interesting news. One way to measure the strength of the news is the fulfillment of all the elements that are in the news value. Kompas.com in reporting the fall of Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 prioritizes the syntactic frame method in reporting about the crash of the Sriwijaya Air plane. This model assumes that every news has a frame that serves to make important news for the public to know. By using a certain frame a protrusion will be easier for the audience to understand. Meanwhile, the construction built by Detik.com only focuses on events that occurred at that time. So that Detik.com used episodic framing for its news related to the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 incident. Given that the target audience is SES D to B1 at the middle to lower middle to upper middle levels who need newspapers as a source of information about events that are not experienced by them themselves. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the Entman model framing analysis method.
