The  title  of  this  research  is  the  Analysis  of  Written Words  and  Abbreviations  in  Indonesian Sentences  on  Social  Media.  Language  is  a  tool  to  unite  a  nation  without  human  language,  it  is very  difficult  to  communicate  between  people.  Indonesian  is  the  National  Language,  sometimes without  realizing  it,  errors  in  writing  sentences  are  often  encountered.  In everyday life, we use Shortening words in writing so that they are fast and easier to read. The error arises because it does  not  use  grammar  that  is  in  accordance  with  norms and  rules,  the  rapid  communication phenomenon  today  is  the  use  of language  that  is  supported  by  sophisticated  technological devices,  especially  the  language  used  on  social  networks.  The use of language often occurs in writing errors.
