Konstruksi Personal Branding Penulis Fiksi di Social Media (Studi Kasus Penulis Fiksi Ika Natassa di Twitter)

This research aims to understand the construction of personal branding of a fiction writer in developing a brand through social media applications. Research focuses on fiction writer Ika Natassa's personal brand development on social media applications, Twitter and Instagram. This research is a qualitative research with constructivist paradigm . The research method used is case study. Data collecting is conducted through observation, interview and literature study. From the research concluded that the research object's personal branding is an accidental personal branding which is constructed from the interaction with the audience through social media. Although personal branding is constructed is an accidental personal branding, but this personal branding is able to met all of the criteria of Hubert K. Rampersad's Authentic Personal Branding. In developing personal brands, research objects try to be herself, manage her own social media applications, developed a personal brand which in accordance with her true personality, hold good morals in using social media, consistently uploading messages that fit her personal brand, focusing the brand on core talent and skills until she can be seen as an expert on their field and viewed as a unique figure different from others, trust and loyal to her personal brand, also continuously improving herself.
