PENGARUH KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. ASURANSI BANGUN ASKRIDA CABANG JAKARTA

Abstract Compensation is anything that is received by employees as a remuneration for work activities. One of the most important reasons for someone to work is to support his family and get the results of all his work abilities given to the company. Compensation is an indicator in improving employee performance. Good compensation will increase good performance. The study aims to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of employees of PT Asuransi Bangun Askrida Jakarta Branch. Samples were taken using a saturated sampling technique, which is a sample preparation technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Through the distribution of questionnaires to the number of respondents 33 employees. The method used to analyze data is correlation test, coefficient of determination test and regression equation test using SPSS version 23.0. The correlation coefficient is 0.820 which means that there is a very strong relationship between compensation and employee performance. The coefficient of determination of 67.2% is influenced by compensation, the remaining 32.8% is influenced by motivation, career path, training and others. The results of the regression equation Y = 6.176 + 0.840X, meaning that if there is no compensation or X = 0 employee performance of 6.176. If there is additional compensation of 1, it will increase performance by 0.840.
