Perkembangan teknologi informasi mempunyai dampak yang sangat besar terhadap system informasi akuntansi. Dampak yang nyata yang dapat dirasakan yaitu pada pemrosesan data yang mengalami perubahan dari sistem manual digantikan oleh komputer. CV. Eka Karya Insani adalah badan usaha yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan khususnya melayani jasa fotocopy dan penyedian perlengkapan barang-barang keperluan kantor. Dimana pengelolaan datanya masih menggunakan cara pembukuan, sehingga dalam penyusun laporan keuangan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka diperlukannya sebuah program akuntansi yang dapat menghemat waktu pencatatan. Salah satunya adalah software zahir accounting V.5.1. Dengan adanya software zahir accounting ini, pembuatan laporan keuangan akan lebih cepat juga akurat sehingga meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan perhitungan antara fisik dan catatan.

The development of information technology has a huge impact on accounting information system. The real impact that can be felt is that the processing of data that has changed from the manual system is replaced by the computer. CV. Eka Karya Insani is a business entity that is engaged in the trade, especially serving the service of photocopy and provision of goods supplies office needs. Where the data management is still using the bookkeeping way, so that in the composition of financial statements takes a long time. To solve this problem, an accounting program is required which can save time recording. One of them is Zahir accounting software V. 5.1. With the software Zahir Accounting, the creation of financial statements will be faster as well, minimizing the occurrence of error calculations between physical and note.
