The objective of this research is to know the friendship value of protagonist character through a qualitative method. The research was the conducted on a movie called Maze Runner. The data were collected through summarization, analysis of the movie and many others. This research contains definitions, cause, effect and dimensions of friendship value through a qualitative method. The research indicate that: (1) a movie is an entertainment in a form of multimedia and divide in a variety of genre and for the most focused genre is adventure, (2) the cause of friendship is caused by a introduction with one person to the other person with a friendly way, and there are 10 of causes by two of the experts :a, rules of survival b. friendly neighborhood c. loyalty d. no one left behind e. actions has consequences f. hint and tips among the trusted g. promise among others h. dare to sacrifice for others i. truth destined to be revealed good or bad. (3)friend can support you and always protect you, and there are 3 effects of friendship : a. protected and supported by the others b. together strong c. a predicted results (4) ages and gender does not matter in friendship. From one of the experts there are 4 of main factor in dimension: a. friends attractiveness b. friendship rules c. business connections d. personal wealth.
