THE BRAVERY OF DIANA PRINCE IN WONDER WOMAN MOVIE DIRECTED BY PATTY JENKINS

The purpose of this research is to know about the bravery which is needed in daily life. This research is done through a movie titled Wonder Woman which was released in 2017, Directed by Patty Jenkins. This movie is based on DC Comics with same name, Created by William Moulton Marston and Harry George Peter. The writer wants to analyze about the causes of bravery. The author chose Wonder Woman movie and used the main character as the object of this research. The method of this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research is: (1) The causes of bravery of main character based on Rachman’s theory: Self-Confidence, Training, Modeling of Others, Emotional and Cognitive Resources and Situational Demands (2) Main character’s bravery act: Liberate Veld’s Village, Opposing the Wrong Thing, Express Own Opinion, Disapprove to the Wrong Thing and Leaving Themyscira (3) Moral values from the movie: do not give up on what you believe even though everyone tells you no or that you cannot and not all humans is bad and good.
