The purpose of this study is that the writer wants to analyze the persistence of the main character in the film The Pursuit of Happyness. Through descriptive qualitative methods, the writer discovers that; 1). There are two causes for the emergence of persistence in the main character, that is motivation and stress that make the main caharacter want to rise from adversity. 2). Four impacts received by the main actors in their persistence is moral responsibility, stubbornness, facing failure, credibility. 3). The moral message in the film The Pursuit of Happyness is that if someone wants to succeed, keep trying. Don't give up too quickly and face the problem and skip any obstacles that come over.
