THE LEVEL OF YOUNG PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION, MOTIVATION, AND STRATEGY IN ENCOUNTERING PROXY WAR THREAT TOWARD THE INTEGRITY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA Sri Arfani1 , Vera Agustina Yanti2 1Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika, Indonesia 2Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika, Indonesia Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of participation and motivation of the young people in anticipating the threat of proxy war on the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. The study was conducted on the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business majoring in D3 Business Management at Universitas BSI Jakarta during the research period from February to April 2018 with 75 sampling respondents. Based on the analytical data using SPP version 2.1, this study resulted that partially the level of motivation had a significant effect on the threat of proxy war and simultaneously variable X had an effect on the basis of the Y variable, which is the threat of proxy war. Descriptively, the level of participation and motivation in facing the threat of proxy war was in the moderate category. The strategies used were input and output process, one of which provided training and mentoring for young people, and state defense training to equip them.
