Translation is the process of transferring a message from the source language into the target language by considering the range of matching and text. In the transfer of messages, a translator must master the source language and the various texts to be translated especially in literature. There are many books aimed for children to attract and develop their reading skill. One of this kind of books is Aku Anak Muslim which is a bilingual book specially made to attract and introduce English to the children. In this study, using Fry Formula and Fry Graphic, the writer found that: 1). The source text (Bahasa Indonesia) consists of: the average number of sentences per 100 words: 10.5 sentences, average number of syllables per 100 words: 148 and approximate grade level: 6. Meanwhile, 2) The Target text (English) the average number of sentences per 100 words: 9.5 sentences, average number of syllables per 100 words: 143 and approximate grade level: 6.
