ABSTRACT

 

Rizky Tri Hayati (31160122) Optimism and Humanism in The Greatest

Showman Movie Directed by Micahel Gracey

 

The purpose of making this paper is as a graduation requirements for diploma three

programme in Bahasa Inggris. In this final assignment the writer wants to discuss

about optimism and humanism that can be done by humans in particular discussion.

The writer uses a qualitative descriptive research method which means the technique

of collecting data or theory from books and journals obtained from internet media

sources and conducting analysis of important notes that have been made and

watching the movie. The results of the research conducted by the writer are that the

writer finds optimism carried out by people can by minimizing negative thoughts so

rise to be positive thoughts that can be success in ambition then the writer finds

humanism research that can be used in human social relationship that are tolerance

each other. The writer also gets results about someone who has the nature of

optimism and humanism that is can be highly beneficial characteristic linked to good

mood experiences less stress and illness, transforming healthier habits, motivation in

social interactions, have a sense of togetherness and bring happiness in life.
