Directed by Benjamin Arfmann

The research is aimed at finding out Obsession of the Main Character in Dismissed

Movie Director by Benjamin Arfman. The purpose of doing this analysis is to

provide clear data about the meaning of obsession and also the writer analyzed the

types of obsession and the factor of the main character in Dismissed movie. In doing

this analysis, the writer uses the qualitative description method. The research was

conducted by watching the whole film and providing data that supports other

research. This study showed that obsession is divided into two types, namely

Autogenous obsession and Reactive obsession, in the Dismissed movie main

character has two types that. While factor obsession in divided in four factors,

namely Bed-self obsession, Contamination obsession, Doubt obsession, and JustRight

obsession.
