The objective of this research is to analyze the revenge, the types and the effect of revenge in maleficent movie. Maleficent movie is movie that have theme of revenge and the story easy to understand. Maleficent movie shown revenge of the main character. The method that use in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative method uses a fact, theory and subjective process to analyze the data. The writer make a library researched and watches the movie. Then, the writer uses a table analysis to analyze the data. The result of this research indicated that, the revenge appears in this movie is revenge shown by main character has an ideational, emotional, and behavioral aspect of revenge. The types in this movie is Vindictiveness revenge, and the effect of revenge are punishment to the innocent person, and harming one person as a means to influence others.
