PENGARUH PELATIHAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIR TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI ARTHINDO UTAMA

Employee training is an effort to reduce the gap or eliminate the gap between employee willingness and the desired organization. Career Development is an effort to improve the technical, theoretical, conceptual and moral abilities of employees according to the needs of the job or position. This study aims to analyze the effect of the effect of training and development on employee performance. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely employees of PT. Arthindo Utama. The collected data is quantitative and will be analyzed using existing formulas and assisted with the SPSS 17.0 software. The results showed that the training partially stated a significant effect on employee performance. This is evident from the partial test results obtained p-value <0.05 which is 0.029, while career development partially states a significant effect on employee performance. This is evident from the partial test results obtained p-value <0.05 which is 0.002. But the next hypothesis gives negative results that the two variables, namely Training and career development simultaneously affect employee performance. This is evident from the results of the simultaneous test obtained p-value <0.05 which is 0.000. And the contribution of training and employee development to employee performance at PT. Arthindo Utama by 18.9%. This research is expected to be beneficial to readers and can be used as a basis for further research career development by adding other variable factors, so that research can be perfect.
