This paper aims to understand how Maud as the main female character described and how the movie reflects feminism values through Maud character. The analysis in this paper used the feminist approach because the aim of this paper is to find out liberal feminism of the main character. This analysis done based on the source of the movie is Suffragette movie. Method of analysis is descriptive qualitative method. To find the liberal feminism values in Maud Watts’s character, there are two problem formulated in this paper. The first problem is to find out characteristics of Liberal Feminism through Maud Watts characters. The second is to identify how the main character is able to survive in the middle of Liberal Feminism. The results of this analysis show that: (1) In liberal feminism , the freedom for women focuses on the equality between men and women. (2) The moral messages implied in this movie that women can prove that they can be as equal as other people, especially men.
