IMPROVING STUDENT’S SPEAKING SKILL THROUGH STORY TELLING OF PICTURE SERIES

Lintang Ursita (31150167) Improving Student’s Speaking Skill Through Story telling of Picture Series(A Field Research at SMAN 11 Tangerang Selatan)

The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of Improving Student’s Speaking Skill Through Story telling of Picture Series.The research was conducted at SMAN 11 Tangerang Selatan in academic year 2017/2018. The writer has done the field research more over 1 month, the writer started the field research on January 8,2018 until February 8,2018.The data were collected through observation and,teaching learning process.This program contains planning and implementating with showing picture series to enrich speaking skill.The results of this research indicate that:(1)Storytelling through picture series to improve student’s speaking skill is one of a good solution to enrich vocabulary,(2)With showing picture series to the students as a materials for teaching can make students more excited to learn,(3) Students become more active in responding to English expression,lesson,and question given by the teacher.
