Muhammad Ramdhani Nugraha (19248029), Interactive Animation as an Educational Media for Animal Introduction for Children and the General Public
The rapid development of information technology has driven innovation in the field of education, including delivering learning materials in more engaging and interactive formats. This research aims to design and develop a web-based educational media in the form of interactive animation to introduce various types of animals to children and the general public. This media is expected to replace conventional learning methods that tend to be passive and less appealing. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), starting from the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, to testing and maintenance. The media features include interactive educational quizzes, animal galleries, and interesting animal facts. Technologies used in the development include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Results from white-box and black-box testing show that the system runs well and functions as expected. Users find the media engaging, easy to use, and effective in improving their understanding and interest in animal introduction topics. With support from widely used digital devices such as computers, tablets, and smartphones, this media can be accessed anytime and anywhere, making it an effective and flexible educational alternative.
