Compassion and empathy are essential human qualities that foster understanding, connection, and personal growth. This study focuses on the role of these qualities in the process of personal transformation depicted in the film "The Blind Side." The film explores the emotional journey and development of the main character through interactions filled with empathy and compassion, which form the core of the narrative. The objective of this research is to analyze how compassion and empathy influence character change, particularly in terms of emotional growth, interpersonal relationships, and the achievement of life goals. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method to analyze scenes in “The Blind Side” that illustrate acts of compassion and empathy. The results of the analysis show that acts of compassion, such as inviting the main character to live with them, have a significant impact on the character's personal transformation. The emotions created in these interactions, such as a sense of safety and acceptance, help the main character feel valued, thereby enhancing their self-confidence. Empathetic interactions with other characters also encourage the main character to overcome various obstacles in their life.
