Anshar Ariestiand (1170364), Mobile-Based Tourist Guide Application in Sukabumi
Region Using Polyline
Algorithm.
Sukabumi has a very promising potential for tourism
objects, ranging from beaches, waterfalls,
to its culture. However, this potential has not been fully utilized due to the lack of information that can be obtained
by tourists, this causes some tourist sites are deserted. To be able to take full advantage of Sukabumi's
tourism potential, an android application
is needed that can provide tourist information easily. This research uses flutter to develop applications, while
also utilizing the google maps API provided by
Google Cloud Platform and the polyline algorithm. The polyline algorithm
works by encoding the area coordinates
into an ASCII character, to ensure proper display of these characters, encoded values are summed with 63. The
algorithm also checks for additional
character codes for a given point by checking the least significant bit of each byte group. From research conducted, it
develop a tour guide application in Sukabumi
region who can provide tourist information and can see the route to these
tourist attractions.
