ANALISIS DAMPAK KEBIJAKAN UPAH MINIMUM TERHADAP PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA DI DKI JAKARTA

A key issue facing Indonesia in the field of employment is the excess amount of labor and wage levels are still not meeting the needs of decent living, so that there is an imbalance between the amount of labor and employment. In determining the minimum wage, there are four interrelated party is the government in this case the Department of Labor, the National Wage Council is an independent body made up of practitioners tasked with providing advice to the government, the Federation of All Indonesian Workers Union ( FSPSI ) and representatives of employers through APINDO (Indonesian Employers Association ). And the adverse impact, the greater the number of unemployed. This will increase the burden for the government of Jakarta as the poverty rate will increase. In this study using simple regression models, to find the relationship between the dependent variable with the independent variable. Regression equation in this study is Y = a + bx, and the results of this study the relationship between variables is large workforce with minimum wage calculated by the correlation coefficient is 0.667. This suggests that the relationship is close to 1 (one) no negative marking in the 0,667 numbers indicate greater the minimum wage will create employment tends to increase. Vice versa , the smaller the minimum wage the smaller the labor anyway. The significance level of the correlation coefficient of the output ( measured by probability ) gives the figure 0.074, meaning that the probability of slightly above 0.05, the correlation between minimum wage labor is real.
